Who I am

My name is Shannon Toy (she/her), M.Ed, LCSW. I prefer to be called by my middle name, Julianne. I graduated with a Master of Education from Concordia University in 2015 and a Masters in Social Work from Simmons University in 2018. I am currently working on my Doctorate in Social Work from Simmons University.

My approach

I strive to make this a safe and welcoming space to people of all ages, backgrounds, and beliefs. My practice focuses on equity, inclusion, and pride in who you are.

My counseling style is solutions focused, and strengths based rather than problem focused. I am a true believer in client centered care, and believe that you should be included in every step of your care. Working with me means that I will advocate for you and work WITH you to empower you to live a happier and healthier life.
